Gurmehar Kaur: A Girl who was Misjudged and a Victim of Political regime

Last year a series of events happened which divided the whole nation into two parts (based on opinion): Supporters and Adversaries. I assume you know “what series of events” I am talking about. Yeah, I am talking about the events surrounding Gurmehar Kaur.

No Confidence Motion: A Motion that can bring down Modi Government

A no-confidence motion is a parliamentary motion which is moved in the Lok Sabha against the entire council of ministers, stating that they are no longer deemed fit to hold positions of responsibility due to their inadequacy in some respect or their failure to carry out their obligations. No prior reason needs to be stated for its adoption in the Lok Sabha.

Government passed the Finance Bill, 2017 using the Money Bill route

On 22 March 2017 the government managed to pass The Finance Bill, 2017 with little or no opposition thanks to its introduction as a Money Bill. Members in Parliament opposed the introduction of the Bill. On Tuesday, after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley introduced the Bill, N.K. Premachandran of the RSP objected to the Bill as he said many amendments in the Bill did not fall under the purview of taxation, which is what a money Bill is supposed to be about.
This is not the first time this government has taken the Money Bill route to pass a controversial law. The NDA government chose to introduce the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Bill, 2016 as a Money Bill.

“This indicates the huge unmet need for free universal health care. The healthcare reforms being undertaken in Delhi strike me as an excellent strategy,” said Dr Brundtland.

“These clinics are for people in shelters who often find it difficult to receive treatment because they are alone with no support,” said Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain.

Delhi Darshan in a Chopper at just Rs 2499/-

You might have heard of New York helicopter rides and the breathtaking view they let you see from high up in the sky. In India, however, helicopter rides are a luxury restricted to the rich and the VVIPs. But not anymore!

Did Demonetisation Served its Purpose?

Demonetization, a word we have been hearing for the last one month, a word when heard causes a number of questions to pops-up in our mind. What is demonetization? Why is it necessary? Most importantly why was this step taken
Demonetization is the act of stripping a currency unit of its status as legal tender. Counterpart of demonetization is Remonetisation where a form of payment is restored as legal tender.

Expectations: The culprit of relationship

Expectations, a simple word or a feeling which sometimes strengthens a relationship or damages it. In most of the cases, it does the latter or even worse like collateral damage!
The main culprit which creates an obstruction in the path of a selfless relationship. All we do, believe in, seek, ask for is "Expectations". All the things we do for others is not driven by the feeling of good deeds, but the selfish act of ours. What we do for others is more of a liability which one has to pay back some day (what we think as). Of course with an added amount to the principal sum. Yes, it’s like a bank deposit, that we do and wait for it to add some extra bucks in our deposit (depending upon the weight of favour), and to return whenever asked for.

Life Hack : Life isn't always cruel!!!

We always say that the life is hard and in hard times, we curse the life and call it cruel, But, is it? Give me two minutes of your life. What? What can 2 minutes do! What can we even learn in those two minutes!!! I will ask this again after 2 minutes.

So, There are Four Questions to Answer. Observe the following image.

Friends: The Alternate Family

Who are Friends, whom do you call a friend, what’s the definition of friend!!!! Ever wondered what will our life become if there weren’t any friends in our life!!
I did a survey of all those questions and there is one common answer for them. They can be anyone who teaches you how to live life, how to have fun. They are the people who always have your back and confide in you.
Some even made a full form of Friend: First Relation In Earth which Never Dies (F.R.I.E.N.D).

Egalitarianism Or Feminism : The choice is yours

What is Feminism?
  • Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines feminism as "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes."
  • Urban Dictionary defines feminism as the “belief that women are and should be treated as potential intellectual equals and social equals to men.”
All the people who support feminism are called feminists, these people can be either male or female. Feminists commonly make a mistake, using the word feminism inappropriately.
*****If you believe that women and men should have equal rights, you are a feminist. there's nothing "extreme" about it*****

DEMONETISATION: A Step Towards Better India

Demonetization, a word we have been hearing for the last one and a half year, a word when heard causes a number of questions to pops-up in our mind. What is demonetization? Why is it necessary? Most importantly why was this step taken?
Demonetization is the act of stripping a currency unit of its status as legal tender. Counterpart of demonetization is Remonetisation where a form of payment is restored as legal tender.
On Nov8, 2016 our Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi demonetized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. Now the question that pops-up in our mind is why? Why take a huge step such as this? Most people you will ask this question, they will simply say two words BLACK MONEY but is that true?! Think again!! Think Harder!! The primary reason this step was taken because of increased circulation of fake currency in our nation. But yes, bringing out the black money and to know the actual flow of currency in India are the secondary reasons.

Is India ready for "One Nation, One Election?"

Last year our honourable PM demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes and introduced new notes. Some are saying this move was a good move while some are calling it the worst move ever. Later, on 1st July 2017, GST (Goods and Service Tax) was introduced in India. These will be discussed later in the upcoming articles. For now, let us focus on our current topic, “One Nation, One Election.”

Making INDIA safer by Video Analytics

Video Analytics is an important feature used to extract information from a real-time video like CCTV .
All the developed countries are using Video Analytics for the enhanced security and implementation of law.
Developed countries are using video analytics at a large scale, from domestic use to professional use. However, the question arises, in developing countries like India where it is being used? Or what is its use? At present, few private firms and few executives are using it for security purposes. Further, even the above-mentioned features are rarely applied anywhere in India. But then, another question arises, what is the future of video analytics in India? I may have an answer for that.

India VS Pakistan: The Game of Rivers - Indus Water Treaty

Indus water treaty is a water distribution treaty between two countries India and Pakistan.

First, let’s take a look at the geography and flow of Indus River. The Indus River originates in the western part of the Tibet close to the mount Kailash and the Mansarovar Lake and from the source of origin, river first flows through India then enters Pakistan. Hence, the reason why water sharing agreement was required in first place.

Phantom Vibrations - Consequence of Mobile Addiction

Have you ever felt that your phone is vibrating, even if it isn't? Yes? Then you are a victim of phantom vibrations! Wondering why? Simple reason - Phone Addiction.
Each and every one of us, especially teenagers, are extremely dependent on our phones that can not be denied. We are just constantly glued to our phones and it's hard to go through long periods of times without it. We are so attached to our phones that, at one point or another, we have all thought that they were vibrating or ringing but there was actually no call or notification. This is called a phantom phone call or text.

A letter to the Indian Youth from Indian Army

This is a letter to the Indian Youth, our future soldiers, from the Indian Army.

Today is our 71st Independence Day, 70 years since we got freedom. A lot has changed since then, but few things remain unchanged – blame game, dirty politics and ignoring what needs to be done!

India's Best Technology - JUGAAD

Jugaad - The Best Technology Ever
Jugaad is a Hindi word which means to complete thing/task without sufficient resources. It is technically translated as ‘hack’. It is a new way to think constructively and differently about innovation and strategy.
Jugaad isn’t just a hack for Indian people, it is another necessity like roti, kapda aur makaan (food, clothes and shelter).
